Automated Medication dispensers – Automated medications dispensers hold multiple doses of medication and will dispense them during appropriate time and day. Some medication dispensers are small and hold 14 doses (e.g., once daily for 2 weeks or twice daily for 1 week) or are large and hold as many as 120 doses. Dispensers will remind someone when to take their medications, which can be beeps, texts or phone calls recorded. Adherence is tracked and can be accessed from a smartphone.

Dose Health Flip – Dose Health Flip is travel sized, small enough for a purse of backpack, and features a chargeable battery with 14 compartments for medication. It tracks medication adherence by recording when medication is dispensed and the dispenser is flipped so the medication falls into a bowl or hand.

MedReady – Although a little too large to conveniently transport in a backpack or purse, MedReady is not too large to take on a trip or keep in a vehicle. MedReady has a battery backup. Features include a key locking system and 28 compartments for medication. Medication adherence is tracked by selecting to dispense medication.
